Digital Photography Workshop

I will conduct this workshop both at The Old School House Arts Center (TOSH) and in the field.   The group will be small (about a dozen attendees) so each person will receive personal attention.

Cancellation Policy: fee will be refunded; less 10% Administration fee if cancellation request is received one month before the class begins. If cancellation is requested less than one month before the class begins, a refund will be possible only if your position in the class can be filled. In this case the Admin Fee will still be applied. TOSH reserves the right to cancel the course, due to insufficient enrolment or circumstances beyond our control, in which case a full refund will be paid.

Itinerary

Saturday:

• 9:00am to 11:30am – lecture, PowerPoint presentation and Q&A

12:00 noon to 1:00pm -- Lunch

• 1:00pm to 3:00pm – "Gentle Hike" – apply concepts discussed in the morning and I will work one-on-one with each student.

• 3:30pm to 4:30pm – download and process demonstration.   I will demonstrate with my own camera, CF Cards, and computer.

Homework for Saturday night: each person to download and select their favorite images and prepares them for slide show/critique on Sunday morning.

Sunday:

• 9:00am – Each student delivers his/her image files to me for inclusion into the slide show, which will serve as a basis for critique and review of the first day's work.  

• 10:00am – 12:00 noon – Slide show, critique -- This is always a highlight of the workshop -- powerful learning experience and everyone loves it.

• 12:00 noon – to 1:00pm – Lunch

• 1:00pm to 3:00pm – "Take A Hike" – back into the field (different location) to make even greater photographs and I will continue working one-on-one with people.

• 3:00- 4:30 wrap-up at TOSH
